My Recipe : Sweet and Sour Stuffed YouTiao

Sweet and Sour Stuffed YouTiao Got this simple yet yummy recipe from my beloved mommy :D (She’s my real chef hehe)

uneed[5]

  4. Heat the oil, and fry the youtiao until golden brown and crispy and set a side
  5. Put the smashed garlic into the heated wok, add some fish sauce and stir it until it smells good

My Day: Dinner @ Ippudo Japanese Ramen Noodle

a

Had our dinner last night(11.11.11) @ Ippudo, Mandarin Gallery. The queque is damn long...well since it is recommended by one of my best fren and claim to be very nice ramen...why not we give a try.

We wait for about half an hour and finally we had the chance to try the ramen.
Overall these are my conclusion:
- The ramen doesn't really worth for such a long queue.I can rate the ramen 6 out of 10.
- Try the spicy chicken wing
- Good interior with lots of cute bowls

Anyway, you can go and have a try there. People say never try never know 

Note: When you taste it, you will feel like Indomie seasoning hahaha…but still I recommend you guys to try this

My Day: RamenPlay Singapore – Eat, Shoot, Post and Win

All you need to do is post a photo with any of the desserts on RamenPlay facebook page and you can win Free ramen which is worth up to SGD12.

But unfortunately, you only can order for ramen below SGD12 and are not allowed to order ramen which is more than SGD12 (although we are intend to pay more for the top up). Kinda disappointed because cannot order for my favorite spicy and curry katsu ramen.photo 4

Actually the interior (its restaurant’s concept) doesn’t suit the food itself. Ramen is a Japanese food but they use the western library concept as its restaurant interior.

I love the “Pick your poison. Let’s Play” hahaha… you can choose your own poison at your own risk. Just wondering why they always keep their stir-fried chili chives and only serve it with quarter of the jar upon request. As what I understand chives is not a so called expensive vegetable.

Overall, I still heart my Somerset Ramen..yum…yumm :D

My Recipe: Nyonya Curry Noodle

Today I don't feel like doing anything
I just wanna lay in my bed
Don't feel like picking up my phone, so leave a message at the tone
'Cause today I swear I'm not doing anything…lalalla….
yeay…a superlazy weekend…
  • I am way tooo lazy to go to market to get some potatoes so I substituted it to french fries :P
  • Forget to buy rice noodle and lazy to cook rice…so I used Indomie as my noodle hahaha….IMG_1017[1]
uneed[5]
  • 2 pack of Indomie (use only one pack of seasoning)
  • 1 pack of ready to use curry paste
  • 200 ml coconut milk/ fresh milk
  • 600 ml water
  • 1 cloves of crush garlic
  • curry leaves
  • bird’s eye chili (depends on your preference)
  • prawns/ chicken fillet (hahha…i never measure how much so just use your feeling will do :P)
stepbystep[3]
  1. Stir the garlic, chilli and curry leaves with lil olive oil until it smells good (hahaha..spicy I mean :P)
  2. Put the prawns/ chicken in and let it cook with the paste together ( to let the meat absorb the curry paste) for 1 min
  3. Next pour in the coconut milk and water, stir well until all combine together
  4. If you cook prawn curry then you need to take out the prawns immediately after it boil( take out the prawns and the soup a lil bit and set a side ,over cooked prawns is not nice…what we want is a crunchy prawn not a soggy prawn.
  5. Let it boil with small fire and can put a lil bit corn flour (mix with lil bit water) to make it thick.
  6. TIme to fries our french fries and also cook our Indomie noodle
  7. Strain the indomie noodle and remember only add in one package of its seasonings to give a lil bit flavor on the noodle (if not it will give u a super salty noodle cause the soup is a tasty soup so we need to balance it taste)
  8. Place your noodle on the plate, decorate it with the french fries on the side and pour the soup on the top…and voila..super tasty yet simple Nyonya Curry Noodle :D
Happy cooking :)

My Day: Dilemma

Confuse confuse...

I am just so evil as evil as shit ;(
Seems like I dig my own grave...

My Day: My super hyper active plus notti lil devil

He will show his little fist...
when he first meet "strange" people
when he is in bad mood
when he feels offended
whenever he like

He will give you his warmest hug and kisses...
when you take him out for a walk
when you give him ice cream
when you show him car or motorbike's keys
when he is in good mood
when he wakes up in the morning

,and yes he is my notti little nephew that I miss him at the moment...

My Day: Medan Short Getaways

Going back to my "lovely" hometown,Medan. Oops...wait for a second... I don't think it is lovely anymore... Everything do change here...traffic jams...pollutions...gossiper...n bla bla bla...but for its food...Medan still stand on its first place.

My Day: Dinner @ Soup Spoon Tiong Bahru

Having mushroom soup with bread bowl + caesar salad = pricey yet "so-so" foods.

The mushroom soup doesn't tasty at all, meanings looks yummy n creamy but tasteless.
For its caesar salad...I will say a big NO NO...only lettuces, half boiled egg, crutons and "do-not know" sour yet sweet stuff and caesar dressing. And it costs me around Sgd 7 bucks:(

I prefer Subway Salad and Salad Stop. I think Salad Stop is the best salad that I ever had in Singapore...you pay for what you get...yummy and can be shared by two adults.

Sharing: When technologies ruin relationship :(

People nowadays...

Reading news from mobile,
while having breakfast.

Taking public transport,
busy with own mobile.

Walking in the pathway,
busy with own music.

Greetings people,
through mobile applications.

While having meals,

busy with own mobile.

So do we still need "real" friends in our "real" life???

One day...
Mouth's role will be replaced by our hands,
Texting is preferable over talking...
World become quite of people's noise but full of gadgets' noise...
Isn't it sad???

O type Girl
