Health : Reveal the Korean Actresses’ dieting secrets

junjihyunJun Ji Hyun has a body that every woman will die for; what’s her secret to this? It’s the Da Vinci Diet. Simply put, its means the intake on carbohydrates, protein and fats to follow the ratio of 52: 20: 25. She thinks this diet is best for her due to her weakness for bread and other carbohydrate-rich food. It does not require her to get off carbohydrates totally and thus is not difficult to follow. Her personal view on this diet is that it is not a get-thin-quick program, it only shows results in the long-term and exercise is still a must to shed off those calories. So ladies, if you have a weakness for noodles, rice, pasta, bread and etc, this diet might be worth to try since it’s about eating in moderation. Since carbs take up 50%, perhaps you can work out in such a way where you consume carbs during one of the main meals like breakfast and then stay off carbs for lunch and dinner.

Lee Hyo Lee has to thank Pilates for her washboard abs. In fact, a lot of Korean female celebrities love Pilates. The exercises and stretches are great for toning up the body and increasing flexibility. However, do take note that one should not rely solely on Pilates. Like Yoga, it’s great for toning and flexibility. For losing weight, the best way is still through cardio exercises for burning off the fats and then Pilates or yoga for toning up or building flexibility.

Fashion Inspiration : Sneakers with a skirt or dress

I love this idea, dress or skirt doesn’t always goes with high heel like burger doesn’t always go with mustard :D.
Sneakers like Converse, Vans, Pumas etc as long as it is called sneakers are better than actual running shoes. Pair them with your dresses and skirts. You will get absolutely cute plus sporty looks. Also try high-tops…it really give you a nice retro feel.

Hairstyle: How to choose a right hairstyle

Need a new hair cut and just afraid that the hair cut doesn’t suit our face. Fear no more now…let’s see the tips to choose the right hairstyle for us:)

First we need to determine our type of face, and this technique is used by stylists  to create an illusion of a balanced face (this technique can be applied in choosing the right eyes frame as well :)

To guide you in determining your face shape and find the right style use one of the following methods:

The mirror trick

- First stand in front of a mirror and look straight ahead.

- Pull your hair completely back and secure with a clip.

- Take a lipstick and draw around the outline of your face on the mirror.

- Compare the result with one of the following shapes and find the face shape that is closest to yours. (There are seven different face shapes in this hair cut guide)

face_shape_hair_style2

Diamond Face: Narrow forehead, small pointy chin, and wide cheeks.
Haircut & Style: To create a balance shape look for styles that are narrow at the cheekbones and wider at the forehead. Add a little more fullness at the crown if required.

Heart face: Wide, short forehead, and small pointy chin.
Haircut & Style: Suited styles are like layered bob with extra volume and outward flicks at chin level. Asymmetric cuts are also flattering heart-shaped faces.

Oval face: High forehead and narrow, slightly rounded chin.
Haircut & Style: This is the most balanced face shape and almost perfect for any type of hair style.

Rectangle face: Long face with high forehead and long jaw and chin. Also known as long face shape.
Haircut & Style:Suited styles are like chin or shoulder-length cuts with a fringe that can disguises the long forehead.

Round face:Wide, short forehead, full jaw and chin.
Haircut & Style:The round shape normally makes the cheeks appear wider. Most short hair cuts works well for round face as long as there is some height at the crown area and little fullness above the ears to slim down the round face. Soft cuts with sophisticated layers coming forward onto the face look stylish and is an ideal hair style for round face shape. Soft curls will also flatter the frame of a round face. For straight hair asymmetric cuts can also be an option.

Square face: A wide, short forehead and square jaw.
Haircut & Style: Square edges should be soften by breaking the symmetry. Graduated layers with some volume at crown and soft curls looks stylish on this type of face shape.

Triangular face: Narrow at the temples, slightly wider at the cheeks and widest at the jaw line.
Haircut & Style: Most short hair cuts works for this type of face. Avoid styles with volume at the top.

fyen[8]The real trick is to pick hairstyles that enhance your best features while camouflaging any flaws. Please take note that this technique and face shape concept is a very simple hair cut guide and sometimes it’s difficult to distinguish two face shapes from each other. But I am sure that this can help us select a better style and give us a general knowledge. Still choose and communicate with our hair stylist is a key to a successful outcome at a saloon.

Anime : Paper Child Art (3D)

Nowadays people become more creative, they try to combine anime with real world which it is called Paper Child Art. Remind me of the story of manga/anime Fushigi Yuugi, when Tamahome come to Miaka’s real world hahaha… I think it would be like this haha….

Paper Child is a new, strange and almost inexplainable phenomen. Probably grown out of the miniaturisation fetish, it involves humans interacting with smaller, childlike paper cutouts to create interesting photo opportunities. It’s existence and popularity has been spread through artistic sharing sites like deviantart.com. There you can find many paper child artists of various degrees of skills.

Grown out of anime/manga culture, paper children first became popular in Japan and Korea. They can look like just about anything. But most are small, humanlike figures. Surreal and mesmerizing, some are sweet, some are created for pornographic purposes, some are drawn pictures of popular anime/cultural characters.

921849_f520 921850_f520 921852_f520 921857_f520 921858_f520 921875_f520 921876_f520 921877_f520 921879_f520 921880_f520 921881_f520 921882_f520 921885_f520 anime13 anime14 anime15 anime16 anime17 anime19 anime21 anime22 anime23 anime24 anime25 anime26 anime27 anime28 anime29 anime30 anime32

Wanna know how they do them? To create a paper child, first you must draw a person that’s about the size of your hand. Try to use heavier paper as your average printer paper probably wont be thick enough. The key is to draw a creature in some kind of motion. A common paper child trick is to draw a character that looks like they are being lifted up by a giant crane.

Once you’ve finished drawing, the next step is to carefully cut it out and possibly colour it. Then its simply a matter of setting up your paper children in a particular pose and then take a photo.

Let’s check out the video…so cuteee …

Hope you njoy and like them like I DOOOO… :) fyen[8]
